3Φ*2VE, Kunstberg Brussel ,2022

3Φ*2VE represents a constellation of three geometric figures that interact with each other. The figure in the centre has the same basic form as the outer ones, and all the connections between the figures point towards the centre. These shapes are called cuboctahedra, and they are one of the basic building blocks of classical geometry.

In this artwork, three of these blocks connect and accommodate each other. Dichroic panels change colour depending on the viewing angle and create a continuous shifting interplay with changes in the direction of the incoming light.

All matter is shifting, yet by holding our position, we can still this motion and perceive how the world’s underlying geometries resonate with one other.
